Access to my software information

Wolfgang S. wrote on 8/24/2016, 12:45 AM

The software that anybody of us had purchased in the past - this software was listed at the SCS page in the past.

Where will we find that in future?

Actually you'll still find it at SCS. In a few weeks after the finished migration you'll find it in your MAGIX Account (https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/ - all other languages by clicking on the flag at the bottom). As a registered user here you can login there already now by using the same login credentials as here.

What about recently purchased software? I bought Vegas yesterday via Magix, installed, registered, activated, etc. Yet there's nothing about it on my Magix Service Center page

https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/

Is this work in progress?

That is the same issue because it is still a SCS serial you got. You should see it in your SCS account - after the migration it will be moved into the MAGIX account.

To avoid any complications moving the serials to us we're not registering it actually when purchasing it in our online shop.

Thanks. I'll be patient :)

Some of the downloads redirect you to Magix but only for a sale not for already purchased software. In this case, I suppose we will have to wait for the transition to complete.

How to download Vegas Pro 13.0 build 453 (last Sony version, pre-MAGIX)

Unfortunately, it appears Sony's process is currently broken. When they first changed their site and my orders disappeared, I was able to get them back. Not so, this time.

I just ended up buying Vegas 13/14 from Magix. I still hope I will see some of my later Sony purchases appear eventually under my Magix so I can at least get Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 back. I still can see my serial numbers for all of my purchases, even back to Vegas 5, but their My Orders is not working when I try to reclaim them using a past order number.

And will we see a section for purchased software eventually in the Service Center? I downloaded and have the emails for Vegas 13 but it would be nice to see them listed somewhere on your site.

The SCS site My Account > My Orders > View Order > Download still working here.

Btw, some of the moderators have provided previously unknown download links (in the thread linked above) for VPro 12, 13, MSP 13 (SCS versions). Try asking for what you need?

Tewt wrote on 8/29/2016, 3:24 PM

Maybe because you already have your Orders listed whereas mine are missing and had to go throught the reclaim process, which is currently not working, something I mentioned in my comment above. I can wait until Magix gets their site sorted out. If my orders from SCS come over without issue, I can get Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 again.

If someone who purchased Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 does still have access to My Account > My Orders > View Order > Download at SCS then they would be able to tell us what the direct link is to download the installer. You could also post on the official forum for all PC Sound Forge versions. It's not very active yet, but your post might get noticed.

OK, after a bit of detective work (via Google cache and Wayback Machine) here's a link to a download of Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 build 252: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/link?id=4473.1

Got it, thanks. Backed up to my cloud drive this time.
