Re "install with buying Vegas pro straight out", see here, point 9.

I assume it's same as the regular license: You should be able to install and use Vegas Pro on two different devices.

If it doesn't work please check if the devices are connected to the internet.
Also take a look into your Magix web account and see if there is a doubled activation of Vegas Pro. If so, deactivate one of them and try installing and registering anew.

Edit:
... and again vkmast was faster :D

Certainly looks like it. You probably need to check with Magix Support how often you can change the device activated.

Looking into it now, hope they can get it resolved.

I suppose the same would extend to SoundForge included in Vegas 365? Working on audio bits on the laptop when out and about is a good workflow. DAWS like Reaper and Harrison Mixbus are cool with lap/desktop combos. If not, I got DAWs, but a unified workflow is good.

Please read this. Re SF licensing you might want to confirm asking a pre-sales question at infoservice@magix.net.

@vkmast Thanks, I am already on-board with Vegas Pro 365, just that part was not clear. It seems a hassle to sign out and in. Perhaps this is something Magix can look into adding in the future, the ability to work on a laptop in the field without having to de-activate an account at the home studio. I have other DAW's on my laptop I can use.
