"Add point" keyboard shortcut?

You can press Shift+V to add a volume audio envelope to the audio track.
If I want to add a point, I have to right click on the horizontal line and click "add point" or right click and press P.

Is there a way to add a point at the cursor using a keyboard shortcut rather than a mouse/keyboard combination?

Doesn't selecting the track and pressing V add a volume line and doesn't double clicking at the appropriate point on that line add the point where you want it?

Sean,
Shift+V inserts the envelope, but also removes the envelope and points, V inserts (not points)/shows/hides.
