Another New Blue Titler Ex question

I have Sony Movie Studio 12 Platinum and have installed all the extra stuff including New Blue Titler Ex. Does anybody know why when I hold the mouse pointer over some of the effects/transitions listed the effect or transition is not shown against the text. Is it only the ones which are listed under the Starter Pack?

Boog,
I'm not at all sure that I see what you're after, but do you mean something like this?

Resize the VideoFX / Transitions window if that's what this is about.

What I mean is when I add some text using Blue Titler Ex and the text is on the time line. If I want to change the text, say to add a transition or effects and I want to select it from the library and you can see effects, styles, templates & transitions. It's that bit i'm asking about. When I go and point the mouse over a transition some of them show me what the transition does and some don't. I'm asking about the ones that don't show anything. Are they actually included with the product and if so why don't they work and if they haven't been included with the product why can I see them? To use this as an example 3d wiggle under 3d explosions doesn't show/do anything but 3d wiggle under starter pack does.

Boog,
OK, I did expect that I misunderstood your problem. I do have the MSP12 Suite, but I can't install its NB Titler version, since I have NB Titler with VegasPro 11. I don't have the kind of problem there with the latest NB build you have in MSP, so I hope someone else will be able to help. Do your system specs meet the requirements and do you have an updated graphics driver?

I have the same issue. Many effects in the titler I can drag to the text but it does nothing. I am wondering if they show all that are potentially available but you have to buy some additional package to open them up.

I've noticed exactly the same behaviour

Yes, that's it. Buy the full pack of effects from NewBlue and they will be activated in Titler Ex. If they aren't activated, they won't work. The ones that comes with the Titler are the starter pack.
