Audio works but appears offline (Video works and appears normal)

Hello everyone,

I cannot use sonycreativesoftware's support anymore since they moved it to MAGIX, and MAGIX is asking me for money in order to get support. So I came here.

My sony movie studio platinum 13 suddenly on the timeline for all audio files appear white and sometimes say media offline. But it works just fine, the problem is that I need to see the sound waves, the video on the time line works perfectly fine but for some reason all audio appears offline even though it works. How do I fix this?

Note: I already tried unchecking the Options -> Preference -> Close media while application inactive or what ever.

I do not wish to reinstall as my internet speed is extremely slow and to find out this won't fix the issue either. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

If you don't see an (audio event) waveform but can hear audio, try Ctrl+Shift+W.

Or check View > Audio event waveforms.
