I'm not 100% sure, because I use Vegas Pro, not Movie Studio, but I think those formats would be supported if you installed the codecs. Cineform is installed with GoPro Quik and "Canopus" is now Grass Valley HQX. Avid DNxHD is similar but Quicktime only. Sony XAVC Intra is included with Vegas and makes a pretty good intermediate.

As for XAVC Intra, (S)MSP 13 has only XAVC S. The link below discusses the "Steam Powered" versions, but it's probably valid enough for the "standard" versions.

It would have been helpful to see a similar detailed comparison table of these features on the SCS site at the time as well. Maybe MAGIX will take note. We can always hope, can't we.

Note that (S)MSP 13 will "automatically create video proxies for Ultra HD media", if you have that option checked in Preferences > Video.

I am guessing that you are seeing those in the "Make Movie" Rendering options area.  Is that correct?

How would I be able to tell if Sony (Magix) Movie Studio takes as INPUT Cineform or HQX?

 

By the way, I have GoPro Quick and Studio installed on the same PC.  What else is necessary to get the cineform codec visible for Move Studio?

(Note that many of those listed did not come with (Sony) MSP 13)
