Blu Ray Burner won't burn discs.

Whenever I use my Super Multi Blue burner to burn a Blu-Ray disc inside of DVD Architect Studio 5.0, it'll start burning, but then a few seconds later says it's finished. Then, when I take out the disc, there's nothing written on it. My burner is model BE14NU40 from LG, on Windows 10. It is an external drive. I'm using Verbatim 25 GB Blu Ray discs. Even if I use something like ImgBurn to put the prepared ISO onto the disc, it still doesn't work. It gives me an I/O error and sometimes says that the medium is not plugged in, even though it clearly is, and shows up in File Explorer.

First, try burning at 2.4x Max. That can sometimes solve some burning speed problems.

Then try other USB ports, perhaps one directly attached to the motherboard and unplug other devices that you can.

I'd then see if anything will burn at all to make sure the disc medium is not having an issue with your drive. Try other programs that can burn to blu ray, to make sure it's not a program specific issue. Windows 10 may be able to do this natively with no other software.

Not sure if DVDA5 has this option, but try to enable "legacy disc drivers" in the preferences.

DVD A Studio 5 may not have that (at least in all builds), but try toggling "skip drive database" in General prefs.
