hello I just purchased my Vegas Pro 20.0 license, but it's not running at peak performance on my computer. In the past I used a previous version (17 if I'm not mistaken) and it ran smoothly with my settings... I would like to know if I have the right to download older versions of the software after I have already downloaded and used my program key . i am writing this with the help of google translator, there may be some errors in the translation. Thanks in advance!

Every version (e.g. 17, 18, 19, 20) of VEGAS Pro has its own specific serial number. So your VEGAS Pro 20 serial number is valid for VEGAS Pro 20. Only VEGAS Pro 20 can be activated with that serial number.

If you still have your older version's serial number (see your MAGIX account), you can download, install and activate that version.

Assuming you have the serial for VP-17, you can reinstall and reactivate it. VP-20 will not be affected by other versions or visa-versa. Many of us have multiple versions of Vegas installed on the same PC and it is not necessary to uninstall older versions when you 'upgrade'.
This does not apply to the 'VP 365' subscription version though.
