can not activate my version of Movie studio 13 platinum

My computer had to be cleaned and re-installed but I cant get the activation to work. Very frustrated. What can I do? I have the code it says that my computer will need to re-start then nothing happens.

I wonder if this may apply to your case: "Older versions of Vegas Pro [and Movie Studio] than 14.0 are licensed under a system (as previously used by Sony) which permits use on multiple computers by one user; after an unspecified number of installations on different or updated PCs you may need to contact support to reset your "installation count"."

Try asking at Online Live Chat (advice here). It seems to be online at the moment.
