Can't Activate after Amazon purchase - Rejected Serial Number

The error states the following: "The serial number you entered is invalid or may apply to another product...Error code: -14" This was a complete purchase (not an upgrade), but I'm not allowed to activate and use it?

If you not did buy it at the maker of the program Magix/Vegas software, you must go to the Amazon seller you bought it from.
