Can't activate my product

I just bought Vegas Movie Stuido 17 directly from the vegas creative software website and it says the serial number has already been activated. Despite one of the "features included" with the software being customer service, there's literally no customer service. Only FAQs and a community post board. I feel like I just wasted $50 and there's no one I can reach out to. Please help
