hi, i'm trying to register my copy of vegas pro 11.0 with a keygen-generated serial number, but the activation code generator and the product registration on the service center says that it's invalid, how do i get a valid serial number?
If you go to the My Products listing on your MAGIX My Account, that list should itemise Vegas Pro 11 and display its serial number.

I don't recall that a keygen-generated serial number was ever a feature of registering/activating Vegas Pro back in Sony days - it was always the one and only serial number issued by Sony at the time of purchase. Back in the day, keygen serial numbers were associated with activating pirated software. Was your Vegas Pro 11 legally purchased? If yes, the serial number should be found on your MAGIX My Account as mentioned above.

i can only see the vegas pro 12.0 trial there, no vegas pro 11.0. and unfortunately no, i had to take an exe file off archive.org and setup vegas from there.

i used VP 13, but moved to VP 14 and then installed VP 17, and after i reset my pc i got VP 14 and then VP 15, and unfortunately also after the pc reset the scaling for old effects got broken and went off-border, along with some effects having their fonts broken and set to fixedsys, i think i'll make a different post about it since it's a different issue.

And if none of those show as registered on your MAGIX Account > My products either, I also wonder where you purchased them from?
Using a keygen generator is when someone has a pirated copy of the software, and want to get a cracked copy of it to work.
@RAAAHlettert You are clearly using a pirated / illegal copy of Vegas Pro via that keygen. And its not like you are trying to be discrete about it.... This is the official user forum of Vegas Pro, and any form of illegality is in no way tolerated here. Raise your issue with where you got it from.
