Can't make bluray direct from timeline in Vegas Pro16

When I try to make a bluray disc from the time line (tools,burn disc ) it renders the video, but when it's making an iso file I get the following error message ;

Filename:
Status: Failed to connect to an IPC Port: The system cannot find the file specified.

An error occured preparing the image
Status: Found two different objects associated with the same URI, '/126a339a_72a4_48ef_a343_ad8f1b36f5f8/Callback'.

I try to start Vegas Pro with administrator rights but that gives the same error, any idea what I can do ? I must burn some productions on bluray and dvd.

No idea what you have to do, but I see the same error message in VP 16 while it is going normal in VP 15 and VP 17.

Thank you I see now that much users have this problem in the forum, I hope that this bug is solved in VP17, has anyone try that ? VP14 works ok, VP15 and 16 have this problem, I also have made a new ticket for this.

@Cameraman1955 Its ok for the moment in VP17, the fix is in the link that @vkmast mentioned above.

It comes and goes, 3 times now by my reckoning, so its always best to check when a new update comes out that it’s still working ok.

It's unlikely that there will be another update of VP 16.

@vkmast Yes, of course, I was only thinking of VP17's upcoming updates. Just because it’s working now, doesn’t mean that it won’t revert again, always best to check this with a new update if you use this feature, can save you a lot of wasted time on a large project.

I try the solution in the link by replacing the bdmux folder and this works !! I can burn again. I did the folowing, copy first the bdmux folder from an working VP 15 version.

I change the folder name in VP16 in bdmux.old then I copy the bdmux folder from VP15 to VP16, start the program and you can burn again.

I keep this folders on a stick so when future updates of VP16 or 17 gives the same problem again I can copy them back.

Hi all, I have the same problem with VP 16 and can confirm that the bdmux of VP18 also works. :-)

Lost in translation. Do you mean bdmux as supplied by vp18 is OK or that folder from say VP15 works in vp18.

I am running VP18 at the moment, and there is no burning problem , so with VP 18 you have to do nothing, it only gives problems with VP16

So in essance anyone stuck with VP16 only needs to install a trial of VP18 in oder to get a 'working' BdMux folder. Useful info. Thanks.
