Can't select or change Text Keyframes in MSP13

I'm not too sure how long this has been a problem for, but the program has recently stopped allowing me to select keyframes in text media. If I hold left-click, I can drag it and the keyframe will appear white instead of black, but if I right-click a keyframe, I don't get any options as the keyframe isn't selected. If I try and drag the keyframe, then right-click, I get the usual options available (Linear, Hold transitions etc), but if I select any of them, nothing changes. The only way I can seem to actually edit any keyframes is if I hold Shift and select a keyframe. THe problem with this is that it selects everything attributed to the same keyframe, which isn't always what I want to do. This wasn't the case with the program earlier in the year, which leads me to assume that a recent update messed up the functionality of the keyframe.

Also, this isn't mentioned in the title, but regarding text animation: whenever I change the text in the project, the text doesn't seem to move out of its usual location. So if I have a word start somewhere, then add a bunch of other words after it, the text doesn't move. But this only seems to stay true some of the time. If I try and render the video, all the text will stay centred, and will move to accommodate the new words. What exactly is meant to happen with new text being added to text media?

Jakebob,
Have you tried resetting?
I kept coming across similar issues in the Titles and Text plugin. I blamed my system and stopped trying to right-click keyframes with T&T altogether. I just use (Legacy) Text now when I need the options that remain grey in T&T. Others will surely tell us if it works for them as it is supposed to. I haven't seen this one discussed, so I suppose this is due to my system.

Actually, it has been discussed.

See some good pointers on the issue e.g. here.

Not quite sure about your other Q, but would selecting the "Sync cursor to media timeline" button in the lower left corner of the plug-in window help?

I've not tried resetting, in the way that you described. I did try a fresh install of the program, but it didn't seem to do anything.

As for the other bit, it's more of how the text animates on-screen more than anything. I changed the anchor point of the text so it's on the far left, as well as had the text left-aligned, and whenever I have the text change in the Title animation, manually moving forward in frames will keep the text box in the same location from start to finish. So if I had "This is a sentence", "This" wouldn't change its location when the rest of the words appear. But if I watch it regularly, or render the footage, then the text will act as if the anchor point is in the centre, and will move the text to adjust to the new words.

The CC thread I mentioned seems to suggest there is not much you can do about the keyframe options for the text in the T&T plugin. Some very experienced Pro users report there about similar problems. Only partial workarounds are suggested.
