Are you saying you see the words "Film corruption notice" when you're trying to install the program? I've never heard of that.

That said, version 6 was a bit of a bomb. It was basically version 5 (which was very good) with the added ability to burn a 3D disc. It may have even been offered as a free upgrade to version 5, but so many had problems with it that they opted to stay with version 5.

Are you installing version 6 Pro or version 6 Studio?

Version 7 is Magix's version, and it's pretty good. It only exists in a Pro edition.

Note that VEGAS DVD Architect (a.k.a. DVD Architect 7) is not readily available any more. You need to ask MAGIX directly if you want to purchase it.
