Cannot install vegas pro

Hello, when I'm trying to install sony vegas 17 (I also tried with other versions) the same problem occurs. I dowloand the setup, everything goes smooth, the wizard says that sony vegas has been installed. But there is no sign of sony vegas being on my pc, the directory path I chose in the installer doesn't contain any files, and I cannot find sony vegas by searching it on my pc. Did anyone have a problem like that?

Where did you download your installer for VEGAS Pro 17 (from MAGIX, not Sony/SCS) from? See the links here. Please read esp. sections 2 and 5 there.

If you have an anti-virus program installed, maybe it is too aggressive. Try turning it off and then install again. Just one thing to try.

BTW, assuming that you have Windows 10 installed - though it should install even with W7/8.1.
