Hey Guys!

On my old laptop i had Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 12.0 to edit my videos.

I have a new laptop now, and when i initially put my disc in i decided to use the trial version of the programme as i wasn't at home and didn't have my serial number nearby.

This trial has since expired and when i open the application it now says

"Your Movie Studio Platinum Trial has Expired

If you would like to continue using Movie Studio Platinum software click Buy Now below.

If you have already purchased the application, enter your serial number here and click Submit:"

I entered my serial number and it says:

"This application will restart to complete the upgrade process"

However, when i click ok, i'm instantly brought back to the "your movie studio platinum trial has expired" page.

It is definitely the correct serial number as i have checked on my old laptop, and still have the book i got with the software.

I have tried un-installing and then re-installing the programme, but nothing seems to work as i'm constantly bought back to the "your trial has expired page"

What can i do to be able to use my programme on my new laptop?

I did briefly consider buying the software again, then realised how silly it would be to re-buy something of which i have already paid for and own.
