VEGAS Pro shows only how much I stretched.

Not true.
Look at the places where you have to look, at 1 for the amount of stretch and at 2 for the length before the stretch

@j-v actually, in VPro 16 your "2" (1st box lower right) shows the Cursor Position. The 3rd box would show the "Selection Length". In VPro 17 and MSP 16 "You can display the Event length on the header of timeline events".

If I am mistaken sorry for that, but I was following the type of example of @ARTURIUM. And with me I see only the option you mentioned here of the event header in VPro 17 which @ARTURIUM is not using. Can you show me that option of the event header in VPro 16?

@j-v I did not say there was that option in VPro 16. I just pointed out that in your example the Cursor position is shown. Pls try your example on other events on the timeline than the 1st one. All this assuming that the OP wants to see the Event length.

Sorry again, but that was I not reading in the O.P.
But if that is the case there was only one answer possible: Upgrade to VPro 17 or buy VMS 16.😌

Note that in VPro you can see Events Lengths if you activate Edit Details from View>Window menu.

I know, but had not the impression the OP was asking for that.😉

Yes, that does depend on what was meant by "the fragment". "The current length" was the wish.

j-v wrote on 12/6/2019, 11:22 AM

Indeed and trying to get what he meant by fragment I looked at his screenshot and did almost the same in my quick answer, that was probably not good, seeing your remarks.
