Crashes when Importing Anything

H all. I have used my Sony HD Movie Studio 10 for years now. I never had any major issues with it up until now. I am using the same computer and the same program, so I am guessing the problem I am having is updating to windows 10. But I'm not really sure. Whenever I try to import anything, be it audio or video, Jpegs, WAVs, AVIs, or MP4s, Sony will immediately crash once I've clicked on the file. It just states that the program has stopped working. If I click debug, the whole thing just shuts down. I am having this problem importing files that I have up until now worked with all the time with no issue from Vegas. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the same problem is still there. Does anyone know what is happening?

Did this start when you upgraded to Windows 10 or did it work at one time on Windows 10?

Which version of Sony Movie Studio are you using?

From what I can tell, it has been doing this ever since I have updated to Windows 10. I am using Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10. I can`t think of anything else I could have changed that would make it crash like this. I have another editing program, Adobe Premiere Pro, and It can import the same video files fine. But for some reason, Vegas is acting up.
