Damaged HD Platinum 11 installation disk; possible to get a new one?

Hi. This production suite was gifted to me back in...2007, I think. Every disk works except the important one: installation DVD.After clicking the .exe file, it just hangs. Does anyone know if Sony would send a new DVD or have a recovery download available? Thank you in advance.

Probably not in 2007 as v.11 was released in 2011.

Please see if you can download the software from MAGIX Download Center. If you don't have the serial number, check your MAGIX account. The Sony era serial numbers should also still be available at https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/myaccount/mysoftware

(A browser (Chrome) may not download without the workaround of copying the link text and pasting it to the browser. Try that or use another browser.)

I truly appreciate your quick response. I was able to locate the serial number in the documentation that came with the package, then downloaded the installation file on MAGIX. Unfortunately, "download was corrupted" and the MAGIX support community links people back to this forum. I tried. Thanks for your help.

Odd. I just tested by downloading from MAGIX Download center. I proceeded to install until I was asked to (not unexpectedly) remove my current installation. Seemed to be no problem here.

Yea, I tried downloading it twice to no avail. I didn't try any of the other serial numbers for the DVD creator, Audio, etc. There was one other person on the MAGIX forum with the same problem and the only solution offered was to try downloading the free trial of 14 to see if it was an issue with their computer. Mine's new, so hopefully that is not the case, but I also have never had Movie Studio on this computer before. I'm downloading DaVinci right now, which is a lot more resource hungry than our MS 11. It probably will crash, but it's worth a shot.

I truly appreciate your time and attention.
