Downloaded fonts not showing up in text.

I was editing a video on Movie Studio Platinum 17, just bought the program a couple of months ago, and for a while, everything was fine. I was editing a video for a class project.

It took all night to finish this video, but I finally did, just in time before my class, however all of the sudden, my computer completes froze. Just as it started, it froze in that 1%.

I panicked and did a hard reset for my pc. Everything seemed fine, but as it was rendering, I noticed that text in the video were different, the downloaded fonts that I used refused to work.

I tried to search for some sort of solution but couldn't fine anything regarding the problem with MSP 17. I know of the Legacy Text option, and yes, the fonts do work there.

But I'm sadden that it's not working on the more newer text media generator, with more customizable options. Supposedly this version of the software "fixed" this issue, as it was a common one in MS16, from what I heard.

Is there anyway to fix this? As mention, I have the latest version of Movie Studio Platinum 17, and its running on Windows 10. It is not a pirated copy, and I have an GeForce RTX 2070 for my GPU.

And remember to enable Legacy Text in Prefs./ Deprecated features after resetting. Some fonts just won't work in T&T.

I get the impression from @TheFVguy 's original post that the fonts in question were working in T&T prior to the pc reset?

Maybe the OP will clarify that.

Yes, you are are right!
The fonts did work on T&T. But not anymore for some reason.

I did the reset as instructed, but the problem is still there.

Ok, so I even tried uninstalling the program, and reinstalling it.

Nothing changed, it's still there, either my version is screwed up, or MAGIX has not fixed this bug at all.
This is infuriating.

Ok, I fixed it!
Just have to Redownload the fonts that I downloaded before installing the program, and they work again!

Still don't understand how it happened exactly, but I'm happy they work now.
