Is there a way to download the disk of movie studio 3 that I bought without a disk reader. My pc doesn't have a disk reader so how do I go forward with downloading that software.
I have Movie Studio 8.0 but this is an all around Q/A.
When I go to Render As I pick MainConcept under the Save As Box. And under Save As I pick DVD NTSC and the specs say Audio: 224 Kbps, 48,000 Hz, Layer 2 Video: 29.97 fps, 720x480 Use this setting to create an MPEG-2 file with an NTSC DVD-compliant video stream, and an MPEG layer 2 audio stream.
Now if I pick DVD NTSC Widescreen under Save As the specs are Audio: None Video: 29.97 fps, 720x480 Use this setting to create an NTSC DVD-compliant MPEG-2 video elementary stream file with extension .m2v. Consult your DVD-authoring software to determine supported audio formats.
Now I made a lot of JPGs that are 873x480 and if I import them and just make a video all of these and just add an Audio.
If I Render As Eather of these will the Video still stay as Widescreen or must I Render As DVD NTSC Widescreen?
I hope I can use the first one I gave you DVD NTSC because it will let me have Audio.
Thanks for the help.

Robert, first you should have started a new thread rather than tag to this one that is unrelated to your question.
But, to answer your question. If you need it to be widescreen you should use the Widescreen template. This sets a flag for the DVD player to play back correctly. A DVD should not have MPEG2 audio. Although many players will play it, it is not part of the standard in the US. You should render your video as the NTSC DVD widescreen without audio, and then render another audio only file using either the WAV or Dolby AC3 templates. When you author the DVD, the video and audio will be muxed and you have a correct standard DVD.
@Robert-Costo yes, as david-tu said you should start your own topic if you do not find a previous thread with a similar issue to yours. Click your avatar in the upper right corner and then New: Post and there select the forum section in the dropdown menu of the "You're posting in the" box.
