Hi

I have Sony Vegas pro (trial) and DVD architect pro trial and have not sound 5.1 on my system home cinema from bluray disc. I have only stereo. What do I have to do?

I`m describing below haw I have done: (no effect)

After rendering video with Sony Vegas pro and after rendering audio with Sony Vegas pro (Dolby Digital AC Studio - .aa3 and 5.1 surround DVD) I ran DVD Architect pro and I chose "New project":

Disk format: Bluray disc
Audio format AC3 5.1 Surround

I made a project and saw a symbol with 4 speaker at audio track

I chose "Make a Bluray Disc" -> "prepare"

there was: "The audio on track 1 of 'my name' will be recompressed."

next only audio file was rendering.

I burned a Bluray disc and I played in my home cinema and unfortunately I heard only stereo!

I,m begging help, place!

Did you set up your project in Sony Vegas Project Properties as 5.1 surround? If not, the surround sound will be downmixed to stereo when importing your footage. Could that be the cause?

From SCS KB article 5030
You will need the DVD Architect Pro software, only available with Vegas Pro, in order to create a Blu-Ray disc with 5.1 surround sound and menus.
From SCS KB article 4557 (linked above)
The Pro AC-3 encoder will not work in the trial of DVD Architect Pro.

I overlooked that. So, the OP could use LPCM instead of AC-3? Normally, you have ample space on a Blu-ray disc, so there is no need for compressed sound.

I don't think the OP is looking to save space. I think they want 5.1 surround sound.

Piotr,
for what Lou suggests, see VPro11 online Help: Creating a Blu-ray Disc.
