Hi, I've upgraded to W7 so had to reload V.Pro and Architect. Burned Blu rays OK but making coasters in DVD settings.
Tried slower speed and earlier versions of Architect but no change .Never had this before, using Verbatim as recommended in most forums. Any ideas? Mike
Have you gone to your disc burner's site and downloaded the latest drivers and firmware?
Have you tried saving your DVDs as a Prepared Files and then using the free download ImgBurn to burn the VIDEO_TS folder in the Prepared Files to your DVD?
Hi, thanks for the reply .LG don't do drivers, there in W7.I wanted to continue with DVD Arch. as it's so good normally with Vegas Pro. Might have to try other software though or rubbish discs.

run test on your burner with other software such as Imageburn to make sure your drive isn't dying.
Morning, It burns a DVD RW+ ! Staggering. Yes I did a burner check. Was going to try some different discs if I get out today .Will try Image burn later Thanks all. Mike
Solved with Sony DVD-R .Used to use these before printable discs. Also burns A1 Blu ray.
Been using Verbatim for 4 years without probs.
Oh well that's computers! Mike
If your burner won't burn Verbatim without problems, it could indicate that it is on the way out. Laser diodes in burners have a relatively short life. Maybe it is time to get a BD burner, if you don't aleady have one. :)
I always burn to my harddrive then make dvds using ImgBurn. Very reliable since my dvds often go to other people with a variety of dvd players and computers.
