Error -14

I previously purchased VEGAS MOVIES STUDIO SUITE 17 PLATINUM in 9/2020 from the MAGIX site and used it several times with no issues.

I recently wanted to add the product to a new a laptop.

Under “My Products” tab on MAGIX site, it shows I have the product registered to my desktop computer twice, so I removed one to add my laptop.

After installation, it asks for the serial number, but I receive Error -14.

But it does not cover my issue. I have copy+pasted the serial number from the email from MAGIX as well as the serial number from “My Products” tab on the MAGIX site (both are the same), both give the same error that it is in use or may be for another product. And both give the green checkmarks on the window when entered, so it does not seem a typo is the issue.
