Export of one part of a video malfunction

Franck-HELIAS wrote on 8/20/2022, 11:04 AM

Hello, I met some problems with editing one of my video which parameters are 4K frame rate 29.01 and which origin is my Fimi 8 mini drone.

The video is normally read by my usual reader (Windows10 media reader) and the frame rate is "probably" variable as the parameter is 29.01 frames per seconde.

If I cut a part of this video Vegas crash by a too long time exporting function.

If I try to precise my frame rate whish, that is 25 frames per seconde, Vegas produce a video but my reader display

a black screen all along the clip duration !

Have you a solution to obtain a normal behaviour ?

If you want the original video file I have to say that this file is 2 Go , so I eventually could send it

by an internet servicing tool like We Transfert.

Best regards,

Franck HELIAS

Do Somebody know how to convert this video to a constant frame rate, 30 fps for exemple ?

Handbrake works fine. Shutter Encoder is a bit simpler interface and I find myself using it more: https://www.videohelp.com/software/Shutter-Encoder

I obtain a perfect video with the use of Shutter Encoder.

Great ,

Thank you very much
