Grouping editing the group

MartinJon wrote on 8/17/2020, 10:21 AM

I grouped events together, and then I grouped them on fresh tracks together, but when I slice or move one vent in the group the rest of the group is not responding. I found I can Shift+g to select the entire group (which still doesn’t allow me to lengthen or shrink tracks together) but I want to be able to select one track on the group and edit the whole group, I mean otherwise the group is pointless. What am I missing, I couldn't find any reference to this the text provided other than that is apparently how it is supposed to work.

@MartinJon

Which version of Vegas Pro are you using?
A screenshot would also be helpful.
Are you familiar with the function and options for Auto-Ripple?

First, did you make sure "Ignore Event Grouping" is not on? That button is on the Transport & Editing Toolbar below the Timeline (in the section shown in the screenshot above).
