I have Vegas Movie Studio 16 on a HP 64 bit laptop. I purchased the software from Fry's on June 14, 2019. When I first installed the product the system said everything had been successful. However, when I tried to use the product the screen showed the software was loading. Then the screen went black. I restarted my laptop and let it rest for the night. A couple days later I uninstalled and tried to re-install my software for the same thing to happen again. A couple of days after that incident, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software to successfully have both the music and movie software successfully installed. I even was able to edit a video shortly after installation. However, after that one use I have not been able to use the software at all and my screen turns black each time. Can anyone help me?

Both Nvidia GPU's have driver version 441.66 Studio Driver, desktop the Studio DHC driver
TV      :LG 4K 55EG960V

My impression is you have a graphics problem. But I'm not a systems expert.

Please post your systems specs especially your graphics and driver versions and someone may be able to help you.
