Help needed (Vegas is crashing with project media opened)

Recently I observed that Vegas crashing with Project media opened. It didn't happened before. Error message after chash redirects to sony page, which states I need to update to 9.0e, but the link redirect to Magix page where I cant find any download options for the bug fix update. So where do I get that 9.0e bug fix update?

Here's the link from the Magix server: http://dl03.magix.net/vegaspro90e.exe It should be faster to download. This small "download manager" will give you a choice of installing either the 32-bit or 64-bit version or both.

I am using Vegas 12 and it is crashing when I attempt to render. Vegas has been very robust in the past. Do I need to download a new version of Vegas 12.0?
