Help on RESET of Vegas Movie Studio 11.0

Hello and thank you for having me here... After a bit of work on Vegas Movie Studio (v. 11.0), I no longer have the windows as I need them to work... The top window is all the way across the top, no way for me to be able to replace the windows as I had them before: Explorer, then the Mix Volume, then the monitoring window... Do I need to 'reset' the spftware? Or am I missing something? I am on Windows 7, 64 bit, never had a problem with the software before, I even tried downloading it again, but it is staying in the present configuration... THANK YOU!!

Yes, you should probably try resetting, if pressing View menu > Window Layouts > Default Layout won't work/help.

Hope this gets to you... THANK YOU for the comeback, and so quickly... BUT... There is something that should be mentioned... If you have an icon of Vegas on the toolbar, it will not work (perhaps because you only click it once to activate it) I had to go into Program Files, and into Sony to find it manually, then hold down SHT/CNTRL together... THEN it will pop up and go to initiating mode... PERFECT... You saved me... :)

My Vegas Movie Studio 11 has not that option.

@j-v true, the basic Movie Studio versions didn't and still don't have "recallable window layouts". Not always sure if the users actually have the Basic or Platinum, so I used the wording "if...won't work."

And as the reset FAQ point 2 advises, "press CTRL+SHIFT on your keyboard while double-clicking the program's shortcut icon on the desktop to launch it" works at least in Win10. Read john_dennis here on clicking on the Taskbar though. Anyway, glad that the OP got his issue solved.
