Hitfilm Fx Plugins Missing After Upgrading from Vegas Pro 15 to Pro 17

Hi - In January of 2020, I upgraded from Vegas Pro 15 (edit) to Vegas Pro 17 (edit). All is working fine EXCEPT, I recently attempted to edit a veg project that I had saved prior to the upgrade. The project loaded just fine but I received the following "error" message:

Warning: An error occurred when attempting to open a file from a previous version.
Warning: An error occurred when loading a plug-in or plug-ins. The plug-ins specified are not loaded on this system.

The missing Fx plug-in was part of a HitFilm bundle offered with Pro 15, back in the day, but clearly did not transfer to Pro 17. There were about 10 such Fx in the bundle and I would like to fix this problem so that it does not happen again when I am under deadline on another project.

Final note: I downloaded both Pro 15 and Pro 17 from Magix - I did not get physical media. When I look at the download files (installers), there is nothing specific to HitFilm. Thus, I suspect it is part of the Pro 15 installer but I am hesitant to launch it b/c it might damage the current Pro 17 installation. Also, there is no guarantee that the will work with Pro 17, given the rearchitecting that happened between versions.

Is there a way to find my old HitFilm Fx and install them in the current installation of Pro 17? HitFilm (FXHome) is not able to help because the offer was a Magix bundle. If there is no solution- is there a new bundle that might be purchased for a modest amount that will still solve the problem of the missing Plug-ins?

Any insight would be very much appreciated.

Magix Vegas Pro 17 (most recent build)

Please contact Vegas Team and ask a refund. Vegas Pro 17 can't support integrated HitfilmVegasBasic plugins ( C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\HitFilmVegasBasic.ofx.bundle ) . Does Vegas team not inform you that before you purchase it?

Or pay more $299 to purchase full Hitfilm Pro Plugin (Ignite Pro) pack as long as you have money. https://fxhome.com/ignite-pro/buy

For refunds you need to call MAGIX, not "Vegas Team". See https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/support/article/revoke-order-return-right-of-withdrawal--1515/ which includes the link to the complete cancellation policy (General Terms).

Btw, I don't remember seeing any HitFilm packages advertised coming with VEGAS Pro 17 standard offers.

And the VEGAS product pages state that you can try out all the programs in the VEGAS family for 30 days for free.
