Might be time to take some of the version-locked NewBlue junk off.

Too bad Auto Color, Auto Contrast and Auto Levels do exactly what I wish they wouldn't do, which is stretch the luminance to full range RGB 0-255. That's going to be responsible for a lot of crushed blacks and blown out whites when videos reach viewers. Edit: Might be because of the same reason as levels changing with dynamic link.

Installed yesterday and they do work in MSP as well. Thanks Nick for the warning. And the version-locked NBs are indeed a nuisance.

Yes, it's a great free gift, but it's not as it seems at first. Many of the FXs don't appear in VMS14 (maybe they do in Pro) and some that do appear are already in the Suite version.

Jack - Do you have an example of one that doesn't work on your system? If you scroll down (and click on the Vegas pro logo) within the page at the Ignite link, it says that 91/94 are supported in Vegas Pro. I haven't tried them all in VMS 14 yet, but if others see limitations, perhaps they can post it to this thread?

I feel a wee bit guilty. After installing the Ignite pack I briefly checked the VideoFX tab to see what I'd got for free. Instead of opening up all the categories I foolishly only opened the ones that looked interesting. This led me to believe that there were fewer than there actually were. After going through your list (thank you) I find that there are only 6 FX's not present:-

Set Matte, Clone Stamp, Light Wrap, Caustics, 360 Video Viewer and Difference Key.

Certain Ignite FX's are also in the HitFilm Toolkit Pack but now I'm not sure whether these were included in the Suite version. They may have been a previous gift from HitFilm.

Having said all that, the Ignite pack is still a very nice free gift from HitFilm.

I downloaded and installed the software but where is the serial code? I don't see it in my email. How are you guys get your serial code/ please share how you got it. Thanks

There's no serial code. You use the email address and password that you used to register on their website. When the prompt comes up to share via social media just click one; you don't actually have to go through with it.

I find that there are only 6 FX's not present:-

-- Set Matte, Light Wrap, Difference Key (as well as Displacement, Waves, Derez & Chromenator) are Compositors.
