How do I find my SERIAL NUMBER in the Windows Store?

On March 21, 2019, I bought the standard edition of VEGAS Movie Studio 16 on the Windows Store.

Now I want to buy an update for Platinum.

That's why I'm trying to register my product so that I can upgrade without buying the full license.

Please, can anyone help me?

To activate that MS 16 you had to deliver your emailaddres and serial to an Account at Magix. There you find it again. Log in at :https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/

Please note this comment. Not sure though if you can upgrade even a (non-Microsoft Store bought) Movie Studio version to the same numbered version of MS Platinum (based on this comment and another). You might check the Amazon site of your area for current offers.

The OP probably needs to deal with the Windows Store as the supplier and seek a refund, then purchase Platinum. The Store's prices look very attractive. VMS16 Platinum NZ$57.95 compared to US$59.99 (approx NZ$91) on the Magix site.

The activation system for the Windows Store version is presumably different, as MS state "Get this app while signed in to your Microsoft account and install on up to ten Windows 10 devices" Somewhat more than the usual two allowed or am I misunderstanding?
