How do I get rid of this "A B" thing?

I have Vegas Pro 15

So while I was creating a video, I for some reason randomly got this:

Looking at this makes me want to gouge my eyes out, it looks so confusing

How do I get rid of this?

For those too lazy to click the link, just double click the edge of the media item that has been split into A/B tracks, it will restore to normal.

For those too lazy to click the link, note that if what fr0sty says (one of the four options to solve it) does not work, you have expanded track layers. That does not happen accidentally though.
