How do I group many clips into one?

So I've been editing a project in Vegas and I need to move all the clips (including audio, and video overlays) about 30 seconds backwards in the timeline. How do I do that? Do I use some sort of grouping option? thank you.

Do a Select all (ctrl + A) and then slide everything around.

Another method:
Select the 30 seconds of silence and delete.

when you want them backwards, you could also just drag them or Insert > Time.... Have Auto Ripple and All tracks selected. In v 13, see under Options > Ripple.

Selecting the empty space is pretty much as easy as double-clicking on it. If you have multiple tracks you may need to decide which one to click in carefully, as it will select the the empty space on that track regardless of whether any other tracks contain events in that same space. Of course, you can always adjust the selection afterward by dragging the ends of the blue selection area.

Once it's selected, if you have auto-ripple enabled for all tracks just hit the Del key. The space is removed and everything to the right of the space is moved to the left.
