How to make project in 1920x1080 Vegas 9.0

Hello.

I'm using Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 Platinum and I'm completely baffled! How on earth do I produce a project in 1920 x 1080? I've tried using the "Blu Ray" setting, but this just makes it in 1440 x 900.

I've just updated to the most recent version, but still to no avail :(

Might be time to look into a newer version of the program.

High-def video was definitely a different world 4 years ago.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea!

I got the chance to upgrade to 12 for £35, I may just ask my Girlfriend to get me it as a birthday present :)

Especially if you've got a 64-bit operating system, you'll love it. Lots of great performance improvements.

Yep, I'd never buy 32-bit.

I spent a LOT on it, so I'm hoping that 12.0 is faster and has shinier buttons ;)

the default values are the same (at least in 10, 11, and 12), but you could try increasing Icon color saturation and tint in Preferences / Display :)

Where are you seeing the "1440x900"?

Vegas lets you create pretty much any size you want. The bluray setting will be 1920x1080, so it confuses me how you are seeing something different? Is this something you see under the preview window? If so, that's only showing you how large the preview window is, not the size of the project frame.
