Unfortunately you can no longer buy it officially or unofficially from Magix.

However you can buy a disc copy of a program bundle like Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 14 from Amazon and that is the earliest version that includes DVD Architect 7, and not DVD Architect 5.

Right now Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 14 is around $30 USD for the Box/Disc copy.

Make sure you get EXACTLY "Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 14" or "Vegas Movie Studio 14 Suite" as I know they include DVDA7.

There are more recent versions of Vegas Movie Studio Platinum and suite that include DVDA7 but the most recent ones stopped including it and include Sound Forge instead.

Also, Vegas Pro 15 and Platinum 15 includes DVDA7 but I assume you want the cheapest edition of anything that includes DVDA7, which would be Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 14.

Would Platinum 15 include a newer version of DVD Architect or did development stop after Platinum 14? Thanks :-)

DVD Architect 7 build 100 is the latest version, and that is included in Platinum 14. Unfortunately there is no more development past that build. Platinum 15 includes the same thing.

The disc will certainly not have build 100 but it will be DVDA 7 in an earlier build that you can patch it to build 100 with this patch located here: (I believe you can just install with the build 100 program linked here and just use your serial number in the box, to avoid installing over an older build)

Aloha all y'all. . .
I've been away from video creation for a year or two and can now understand why I don't see many videos online for training with DVDA7...
Are you saying they (VEGAS) no longer offers it and supports it... OR that DVDA ends with v. 7?
That would be first-page, above-the-fold tragic news...
Please tell me DVDA still lives...

Until that time. . .

It's no longer sold in any way and also they don't support it anymore in any way except activating it if you own it.

Also, it seems DVDA 7 is the last one to be made as well, since they stopped development.

See this comment and the replies under it:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/no-dvd-architect-with-vegas-pro-18--122836/?page=1#ca787387

(he later posted that they can't sell it anymore as well, even direct contact with them)

If you need a program with more updates and support, check out TMPGEnc Authoring Works 6. It has a 30 day free trial with full features. I personally like DVDA7 better though, but there's limits to it like Ram limits due to being a 32 bit program.

I purchased the platinum 14 thru Amazon. It had DVDA7 BUILD 100 and allowed me to register it.

@Terry-Littlewood thanks for confirming what @Teagan mentions in his first comment.
