Try and see if your serial number allows downloading the software installer from MAGIX Download Center.

Note also this just in case: "Older versions than 14.0 are licensed under a system (as previously used by Sony) which permits use on multiple computers by one user; after an unspecified number of installations on different or updated PCs you may need to contact support to reset your "installation count". A user-created tutorial here.

I logged into my Sony account and despite following instructions to use the dropdown box for my previously registered version of Vegas Movie Studio 11, and my machine number - the page does not work

Thank you - Ill send a message to support about the installation count!

OK Despite logging into my magix account,  repeated attempts to download result in the message for both programs that “download is corrupt”.  I am contacting support unless someone knows what to do!

In your Magix account you can click at all programs on ">Show more details" (in blue).
There it is possible to see where the program is installed and you can there deactivate the program on other hardware than the one you are using now.
After that it is possible to download the program again by clicking "Installation program" (in blue), which is the start for downloading a short so-called "downloader" in which ( if installed) you can select what will be downloaded to your Documents\MAGIX Downloads\Installationsmanager

https://www.magix.info/us/support/article/error-download-is-corrupt-or-2147163964--707/ the answer was that I needed to activate the "Microsoft .Net Framework" so I fixed it and registered the program. Hope this helps someone else but you got me on the right track - thank you

@Nancy-Williams

Great that you found the solution. Thanks for confirming.

And as @j-v said one can find VEGAS versions (versions 13 last build, 14 and later) after the install process in the Installationsmanager.
