@yassera-s - What happens when you click on the FX Bypass on the Preview Toolbar?

vkmast wrote on 11/24/2020, 3:26 AM

You seem to have added it as a Video Output FX. Try clicking the coloured fx icon beside the button Grazie refers to.

Nothing happens!

I only have LUT in the Video Output FX and even removing the LUT did not help removing the timecode!

The timecode VFX wouldn't have been added to the event via Media FX by any chance?

And when trying the FX Bypass button, was its menu set at 'Select All'? It may be that FX Bypass was set at vertical split and therefore only the L hand side of the preview screen was bypassed.

Run Tools > Scripting > Remove timecode from all media

vkmast wrote on 11/24/2020, 3:53 AM

Then try going to your Project Media tab. Find the file, right-click and click Media FX.

As a "new user" (?) you could check the item "adding video effects" in Online Help (F1).

THank you very much. This solved the problem 👍👍👍

Re the first image, it is not the Properties window that is needed. Right click the event and from the context window that opens, select the 4th item down: MediaFX. The MediaFX window will then open - it looks much the same as the VideoFX window - but will show any VFX that have been added via that avenue. A MediaFX added to an event does not highlight the FX icon on the event.

If there's no VFX added via MediaFX, then that's a possibility that can be eliminated.
