How you disable audio scrubbing?

FayFen wrote on 7/8/2020, 5:40 AM

I just installed Vegas pro17 trial, and it drives me nuts,

I can't find how to disable audio scrubbing, even the help file has nothing on that.

I do run VMS16 for about a year and I don't have it there at all,

Surly you don't work like that.

Thank you

drag the line, not the playhead

You mean it's constantly on?? it's crazy.

This should be a user preferences set.

Another stupid Vegas thing like the end frame freeze

What's the problem to drag the line?

What's the problem to set it in preferences?

There is plenty of room in this tab

or with a shortcut, we still have 5 free fingers.

Very simple

I do not recall anyone else commenting on this (since Vegas 2.0). I think @FayFen may be doing something wrong, as was stated by @altarvic

Scrubbing with the playhead (online Help):

"Hold Ctrl+Alt while dragging to scrub video only."

If you really want to turn it off, set Pause scrub to 0 in Internal options.
