I've been using vegas studio for 3 years but sudently my program stopped working.
I downloaded and re-installed again.
When te programs starts I'm introducing the correct S/N , it loops and asking again and again.
Inside MAGIX I see my product as registred but I don't have any option to see in which computers is installed to desactivate.
It's frustrating, because I payed for it and now I can't use it and there is no contact support to ask.
Can any one help me please?
Which version of Vegas Movie Studio are you using and is it the basic version or platinum. I ask because I wonder if you have an old Sony version.
Also what do you mean by "Inside MAGIX"? Your Magix account or within VMS? Anyway go to your Magix account here https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/, go to "My Products", find your product and deactivate it there. Then try activating it again.

What I meant was, in my Magix acount, I found my product registered but there is no option to click, so I cant deactivate, just consult no further options

Yes you are correct. My no longer used VMS13 is the same. It's serial number starts 1ST..... VMS14 was the first version with serial numbers starting P3... which show the machines it is activated with and the option to deactivate.
If you are copying the serial number from an email try using copy and paste instead of typing.

It is also not needed to deactivate the program.
You can install and register it many times and never I saw any problem.
This is an old program from the Sony era and registration goes trough the old Sony site as follows
As you can see in the first screenshot you have to register "as admin."

Yess, but it is the same now owned by Magix and the registration goes like @ Nick Hope writes it here : "Older versions of Vegas Pro than 14.0 are licensed under a system (as previously used by Sony) which permits use on multiple computers by one user.... "
Then that user has to forget the last picture, as far as I remember the first 6 pictures are the same when Sony owned the program and at to much registrations I had to email them to reset the amount of registrations.
I opened a ticket hope they will fix it
