I can´t use a free trial.

I don´t know why I can´t use free trial. I downloaded software, execute it and dialog windows shows me that I have no registration to activate and, of course, use this program. I´m very interested in that but, how can I purchase this software without a simple previous test???. Thanks for your help...

Did Magix/Vegas email you a trial serial number? If not, check your spam and junk folders.

How do you get Sony/Magix to email you a trial version of the activation code??? I recently downloaded Sony Vegas Post and I can't even open Vegas Pro because it's asking me to input an activation key for the trial version.

Where did you download the program from?

@Ty-Krein There is no "Sony" Vegas or "Sony" Vegas Post. Please read https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/sony-vegas-vs-vegas--119881/

@EricLNZ, thank you for the clarification, I had Sony Vegas a long time ago and it's been over 10 years since I used it. I now see that it's now Vegas (drop the Sony). I downloaded the trial software from Vegas website and once I opened Vegas Pro, it gave me the option to activate the trial version and enter my credentials to activate it. I'm now using it. I'm really happy that they've kept most of the settings and user interface the same. Trying to decide if I should by the license or go with the subscription. Thank you all for your assistance.

@Ty-Krein as you may know there is the product comparison table here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/product-comparison/#productMenu

When you scroll down that page you'll find the Online Shop. Click there the small circled "i"s in Upgrade and Subscription offer options to see more details. Please peruse also the VEGAS product pages starting form here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/

Note that the links in Dexcon's comment actually are for MAGIX products, so all points may not currently apply to VEGAS (Creative Software) products. It's yet to be announced if and how the VEGAS purchase model changes.

The "Subscription" services mentioned in the links are very confusing. Fortunately Vegas never had the old update service that applied to Magix products.
