I cant activate Movie Studio Platinum 17 on my new computer

I bought it, activated it on laptop, but it turned out laptop was too slow to run it well. Got a new computer, deactivated laptop, and when I try to activate it on this computer I am getting Error code-14

 

I figured giving it some time would help the issue, but is has been more than a week. What is going on? How can I resolve this?

If that does not help, you may need Ask VEGAS Support. (Ignore the FAQs and keep clicking on, describe your issue when asked to do that and click again until you get to send/submit a support request.) You might also try Online Live Chat, advice here section 6.

I have also written a support ticket. That link is a 404

Btw, I assume you have no current activations on your MAGIX Account?

Please make sure you have downloaded the correct application and version for your serial number. If that all seems correct, please contact customer support as vkmast has suggested.
