Make sure you are installing your correct version directly downloaded from the Magix Vegas Creative Software website.

I was finally able to get the program to install now it's asking for the key which I put in... and it sent me the successful registration email and it said that the product was registered to another user. so I hoped online and it is showing in my account but will not activate the software.

I finally got it to work by completely uninstalling and reinstalling the program and trying the code again.
