For de-activating and activating Vegas Movie Studio, please refer to point 9 in https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-faqs-and-troubleshooting-guides--104787/

Even though that FAQ refers to Vegas Pro, the same process is applicable to Movie Studio.

But first, which Vegas Movie Studio version do you have? If it is version 13 or earlier, it will be from Sony ownership days, but if it is version 14 or later, you should be able to get the serial number for your Vegas Movie Studio from My Products on your MAGIX My Account. Even so, serial numbers from Sony days should also be recorded on your MAGIX My Account because that data was transferred by Sony to MAGIX at the time of the transfer of ownership

In the title of this post, you mention 'simoly code'. Could you please let the forum know what a 'simoly code' is. There is a Simply Code in BC Canada that provides IT services, but its website says that it provides IT services for big business and universities.

You should find your Sony/SCS era serial numbers if you log in to your old account here

https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/myaccount/mysoftware

Note also that it's possible "SCS accounts without posts have not been migrated to MAGIX account".
