I know i will get problems for this

DyogoCosta wrote on 5/2/2024, 7:32 AM

Hello guys i know i will get this forum post removed and even get problems but hear me out atleast.

I never bough any sony/magix related product due to not having conditions to buy the program, i always used pirated versions of vegas, but iam willing to buy the program next month only problem is...

Vegas crashes alot, and doesnt matter the version if is 16 17 18 or 21, the one who i found most stable is vegas pro 16, and the reason also i don't buy is that i don't trust magix because iam afraid to spent 200 euros on a program which will crash constantly...

So to points things out there and ask you some questions..

Does your paid version program crashes alot? has alot of freeze problems or bugs?

If not please awnser me so i know ur experiences before buying it..

I know that not a single program is 100% perfect, but i dont want to waste 3 hours of editing to the program crashing and then have to do anything again...

Regards, Dyogo Costa.

I assume your system meets the minimum specifications for newer versions of VEGAS?

In my experience, for stability the biggest factor is the media. Please share what you commonly use. If it's captures (game footage, etc.) we can likely recommend settings that would work well in VEGAS.

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

I've never used a pirated copy and while they may well have additional problems, retail versions of VEGAS do have bugs. You can work around it with good media and sometimes changing the settings.

Personally I'd wait to trial VP 21 until there is a bugfix for 21.300 as it has a number of issues that might give you an unrealistic idea of how VEGAS normally performs.

Custom PC (2022) Intel i5-13600K with UHD 770 iGPU with latest driver, MSI z690 Tomahawk motherboard, 64GB Corsair DDR5 5200 ram, NVIDIA 2080 Super (8GB) with latest studio driver, 2TB Hynix P41 SSD, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit

Dell XPS 15 laptop (2017) 32GB ram, NVIDIA 1050 (4GB) with latest studio driver, Intel i7-7700HQ with Intel 630 iGPU (latest available driver), dual internal SSD (1TB; 1TB), Windows 10 64 bit

Hello i have what i consider a medium-high pc...

Gtx 1660 Super

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz   2.90 GHz (6 Core)

Windows 11 Pro (Last and Most Updated Version)

16 GB Ram

SSD 250

HDD 1TB

Well currently iam using 4k footage from My Google Pixel 7a not sure if theres some problems with 4k resolution...

Probably if i buy the original version i will get fast renders and less bugs, iam really sorry for saying this but isnt there any discount for like only using vegas, like i know u can get the full package but for example how much it would be a monthly subscription for using only vegas pro 21?

Please go to Vegas Pro's website that I linked above and explore the various webpages including the comparison where you can learn about what you get with the various versions of Vegas Pro as well as the cost including buying a perpetual licence versus subscription - it's all there.

So if you couldn't afford a bicycle, you have no problem stealing one? Sorry, theft is theft despite your willingness to admit it.

DyogoCosta wrote on 5/2/2024, 11:56 AM

I litteraly admitted that i stoled, and worse would be if i sell or share the pirated program to anyone, dmt3 i garantee u have atleast 1 pirated program in ur pc, and i can tell u that u dont even will say the same thing u told to me... ;) and besides i wasted all the trials time... and i work with videography and i litteraly have to get something value off it.

You didn't say you would stop using it until you can afford it, you want to know if the purchased program would work better than cracked. But good luck to you. IF you work with videography, then you know there is a cost.
