I want to work on an old file made with Vegas Movie Studio 10.0

Hey all. There's an old project I want to work on that I created on an old computer using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10.0. I have the .vf file on my new computer as well as all the raw video clips used.

My thoughts are that I'd have to get a copy of 10.0 on my new computer or see if a new version of Movie Studio would open an old file.

I downloaded a trial version of 18.0 and it opens the old file, but with no information showing within the file.

I downloaded 10.0 onto my computer, but have no registration number. I bought 10.0 back in the day, but don't have the cd/info any more. I do have my old computer still, would that help me install 10.0 on my new computer? For reasons that are lengthy to explain, I need to work on this with my new computer, not the old one.

Thanks in advance for any help!

The Movie Studio 18 is not a VEGAS product.

Try check your installed VMS10, go to Help>About. The serial number of yours should still be shown there.

Thank you for the reply! And will that be all I need? Will I need a password/registration number following that?
