VMS v10.Build 179 from Suite
This has been working well for some time!
Now I need to use video-effect on Text and can't do this on the Text-tracks on Timeline . . (only the Video tracks), so I am attempting to do this with a Rendered Movie, so the "text" will be treated as a HDD movie - I hoped.
The Drives have been recently Defragged.
However, even before any "Effects" the Movie freezes up and VMS says it has stopped working and refuses to play the video (the preview screen is frozen about 10sec into the Movie, as the titles die away). However, the music continues and sounds OK, without stutters . . . so can the video-content be "Too much work?"
I'm importing media (=the rendered Movie) from the normal internal HDD(NOT C-drive, another SATA internal), just a few folders away from where plain movie clips are stored as "Masters". This should mean there are minimal delays for the transfer of data. Being "Rendered" it should be far easier for VMS to play, anyway.
It's been Rendered (in this very-same Program), using the high-quality Sony option at 1920x1098x50i, which matches most instances of the camcorder Media.
In "Import Media", I set the Media Type to m2ts (it's on the list), and it appears to Import correctly
I've not needed to work this way before, so it's new to me . . . .
This has frozen in a similar way four times within a few minutes.
What am I doing Wrong?
