Installation Error:-2147163964

I recently purchased DVD Architect along with a myriad of other Vegas products through the Humble Bundle. I began installing them (Vegas Pro 15, Movie Studio 15) with no issues until I got to DVD Architect. I've attempted to install it 3 times to no avail. I received -2147163964 the error code:  -2147163964 during installation. The message reads: "There is a problem witht this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

Did you try downloading DVDA again. You may have a corrupted download.

Sorry can't help then. If you haven't already, you could try rebooting the computer.

Update: I have just figured it out, you have to make a new folder when installing the software.

I have the same problem as you Walrus. I also tried reinstalling a few times always getting that same error message. I just purchased this software to be able to burn blue ray disc. NOT happy. I guess no one from Vegas is monitoring this form. Why have a form if your no going to be active on it?

Because as Walrus is saying you have to contact the package vendor and that is not Magix or Vegas Creating Software.

This is a user forum and I think there are not so much Humble Bundle users that give here some help.

Have you tried to download from the options mentioned in this comment?
