Is Vegas Edit/Pro still a permanent license or only with subscription

Hello,

I saw that Magix offers an upgrade price quite competitive for Vegas products,
I currently have Vegas Edit 16 and I am thinking to upgrade to Vegas Edit 19, but what is not clear to me is whether, once I have upgraded, I will keep the permanent license (as it is for my current v. 16), or will the SW be switched to a subscription model, which in my case is simply a waste of money, as I do not need the latest mostly updated SW every year.
Can anybody help me to clarify this ?
Unfortunately Magix website is more than blurry about this point... :-(

Thanks

Roberto

You can purchase it either way. You can purchase the same you always have and be able to use it on up to 2 machines for as long as you wish. You can purchase a subscription and be able to use it on 1 machine but have to renew to continue using it. The subscription version does have more features available, though, such as the text to voice feature and the use of the Hub to download royalty free video and audio files.

Thanks. Indeed now I understood that the UPGRADE selection is still a perpetual license, i.e. no conversion to any subscription model.
